Privacy Policy

This policy explains how WroteYou uses personal data when you create, receive or manage a digital moment.

Information we process

We process account details such as your email and display name; user-created text, recipient names, photos, voice recordings and music links; support messages; and limited service and analytics data. Razorpay processes payments. WroteYou does not store card numbers or UPI credentials.

How we use it

We use information to authenticate accounts, create and deliver moments, take payment, prevent abuse, provide support, send requested service emails and improve reliability. We do not sell personal data.

Media, recipients and AI

Uploaded media is kept in private storage and served through short-lived signed links. You must have the right to share the content and personal details you add. If you use AI, the prompt and relevant context are sent to Groq to generate the requested text or design. If Groq is unavailable, the request may be sent to Gemini as a fallback; avoid including sensitive data in prompts.

Service providers

Necessary processors include Supabase for database, authentication and storage; Netlify for hosting; Razorpay for payments; Resend for email; PostHog for product analytics; and Groq or Gemini when AI is used. We may also disclose information where required by law or needed to protect users and the service.

Retention and your choices

You can manage and delete moments from your dashboard. We retain data while needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. To request access, correction or deletion, email privacy@wroteyou.com.
